Karl served as an airline executive with P&L responsibility for fleet planning, aircraft and engine acquisition, flight and technical operations until he was rescued from the airline business in 1999 by Compass Capital Corporation. Since becoming an aircraft trader, he has profitably traded and leased over 100 aircraft and engines with many counterparties around the globe. His strong technical foundation spans the disciplines of flight operations, engineering, maintenance programs, reliability, production and quality control. At AirCapital he performs deal analytics, originates transactions and presents transactions to potential investors.
